"The White
Lesbian Rapper"
Take the sex appeal and beauty of Aaliyah, the writing prowess of Alicia Keys, then add the vocal talent of Tamia and you've almost figured it out. Emerging directly on the heels of the new-found success of E-40 and Too Short who helped bring the Bay lifestyle back into the nations consciousness, JIMMIE REIGN has been swiftly blazing up the Bay Area's radio charts with her debut single "Trying 2 Be Your Girl" featuring Clyde Carson of The Team. To some it might seem like instant gratification but her rise to the top has been nothing of the sort.
JIMMIE started singing and penning hit songs professionally at the tender age of 14 and is known as one of the fastest songwriters in the Bay, creating feel-good music in less than 20 minutes. Since then she has worked with producer Brian Morgan (SWV), Terry Ellis of En Vogue, and producer Paul Anthony of Full Force (Backstreet Boys) among others. Recently she has been working on projects with Damon Eden, A&R for Atlantic Records, whose credits include Pretty Ricky & Trick Daddy, BedRock (The A'z "Yaddadamean", Goapele "Different"), J. Valentine (City Boyz Music/ J Records). Most recently her angelic voice has been featured on The Team's "World Premiere" Album, and Kaz Kyzah's "Go-fessional" Mixtape.
Radio stations have been fielding calls from major recording industry executives who want to know "Who is Jimmie Reign?" The cream of the crop already know:
"Jimmie Reign is my best kept secret. She is one of my favorite singer/songwriters because she sings with so much passion and her lyrics are so heartfelt. I don't know why she hasn't been put on yet!"
-Damon Eden, A&R, Atlantic Records

Ms. Funy always knew that comedy would be a big part of her life. She never imagined it would take her all the places she has been, and will be. Born in St. Louis, MO as Donna Murray, she knew at a very young age that life held truly comical connotations.
The stand-up bug really hit Ms. Funy when she began to watch HBO’s Def Comedy Jam. While at work she would take her lunch breaks, go home, and watch the tapes of the program she had recorded. Watching people that would later become some of the funniest people in the business: Martin Lawrence, Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley, and Cedric “The Entertainer”, she knew that she to could do stand-up comedy. Her first time on stage would come in 1993, where she did an open-mic night at the famous St. Louis Funny Bone. Before she stepped on stage, she told herself one thing: If they laugh…this is meant for me; if I bomb, I will never step on stage again.
14 years later she is still going strong…
In 2000, Ms. Funy decided to promote comedy shows as well as perform. She has promoted such comics as Lavell Crawford, Arvin Mitchell, Darius Bradford, Javon Bibbs, Kenny Howell, McGriff and many more. Ms. Funy also promoted the first show that kicked off the 2002 tour for Gerald LaVert in Paducah, KY & started her own television show on UPN46 that was called Ms. Funy’s Big Showcase. With four different categories to compete in (hip hop/rap, dance, poetry, and comedy), and a chance at a $1000 prize; contestants from in and around the St. Louis area would perform. She is currently working on her second season.
In 2005 Ms. Funy auditioned for Nick-at-Nites Search for the Funniest Mom in America 2. There where over 1000 woman that auditioned. Ms Funy made it to the top 10 women. She will be shown on Nick-at-Nites Search for the Funniest Mom in America 2 starting April 4, 2006. The show is a reality show with ten women that stay in a house together in New York City.
